Technorati

I’m signing up for Technorati.com, one of the leading blog search engines. Technorati.com indexes millions of blog posts in real time and surfaces them in seconds. It’s a great site for people who want to find the best blogs and engage in online conversations with other bloggers.

The problem is that when you try to connect your blog with your Technorati profile, you have to publish a blog post with the Technorati claim number. For example, 4jep6qwx8a (my claim number). The site recommends that you post a new blog with nothing except the code, but that’s so random and pointless. There should be a better way, but since I can’t seem to find it, tonight’s blog is about my Technorati sign-up experience.

I’ve had a couple of blogs appear on Technorati.com, but not many. I guess I need to write about more compelling, controversial topics. Maybe I will in the future when my life slows down and I actually have time to focus my thoughts again. Lately, I can barely form a coherent thought by the time I sit down to write my blog — been working 12-15 hour days again, but I digress.

Okay, there’s my somewhat pointless Technorati.com post. I hope it’s worth it! 🙂
