It’s Friday Night…

Does that mean it’s time for some fun?  Or, maybe it’s time for a wild new adventure?  Absolutely.  Not.

Why, you may ask?  Well, let me tell you…I’m still fighting that nasty cold.  It’s slowly getting better, but I’m still under the weather and that means another night wasted at home watching TV.

So, without any further ado…it’s time for the “mini” version of the Friday Night Line-Up (because I’m sick, tired and not feeling verbose tonight):

  • Friday Night Lights:  Matt has a really, really bad day (no…really…just thought I needed to add another “really” in there for emphasis…he had a rough day).  Julie’s mom forgets her driving test (wow, how uncool is that?).  Tyra likes Landry.  Smash loses his scholarship and is left all alone.  Best line:  Matt’s response to the art teacher.  Did I mention he was having a bad day?
  • Psych:  Shawn’s Dad was a member of a weird lodge group.  Someone in that group died.  Lassiter wanted to impress his soon to be ex-father-in-law who is a member of that group, so he reluctantly hires Gus and Shawn to solve the murder.  Funny moments:  William Zane.  Sales Reptitude.  Motion sensing lights.  Poor hiding places. Man Candor.
  • Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard learns that his dad passed away, which brings him home and gives the writers an excuse to delve into his long awaited back-story.  We learn that he came from a wealthy family and has a brother.  We also meet his ex-wife.  However, that’s about it — not many details are shared.  While back on Earth, he learns that a replicator is loose — and he runs into Bates again.  The rest of the episode is mostly spent tracking down the escaped replicator.  It was a decent episode, but definitely not one of my favorites.

.

All right…that was my Friday Night Line-up.
