The third installment of Saturday Night Life is officially over. We had two fantastic performances on Friday and Saturday. Great crowds, good laughter, and lots of fun!

We had our first “tech week” rehearsal tonight. It was controlled chaos, but I guess it’s always that way on the Monday before a show. And….we’ll do it all over again tomorrow! Here are a few pictures from tonight:

We filmed three videos for Saturday Night Life today — a commercial, digital short, and the opening cast video. It was a long day, but I’m very pleased with the footage we obtained. We captured some funny moments…can’t wait to see the first edit!

If you want to see the finished product, be sure to join us for the show on Oct. 9 and 10 at 7:30 pm. It’ll be great!

Rehearsals are underway for our 2009 comedy show, Saturday Night Life, at Abundant Life Church. We have a great line-up of sketches this year and a fantastic cast. Tonight’s practice focused on blocking for all of the sketches in Act II. In addition to blocking, we started to work on some characterizations, and I’m really liking what I’m seeing so far. I think many of the characters will blossom into comedic masterpieces in the next few weeks.

We’ll be filming most of our SNL videos on Saturday. This year’s line-up includes a commercial, digital short, boy band music video, and the intro cast video. I’m excited about all of these. They are hilarious and should be lots of fun to tape.
