I have the perfect map for you - I'll bring it to church this weekend. It has a detailed street map, detailed subway map, and all the places to see. Few pieces of advice: DON'T try walking all of Central Park after walking for half the morning. DO ride the subway whenever possible - no it doesn't mean that you are lazy. DO get your tickets for wicked at the discount tkts booths - http://www.nytix.com/Broadway/DiscountBroadwayTickets/TKTS/hoursofoperation.html. We were able to get Beauty and the Beast tickets at 50% off. Little Italy was cool - great little restaurants and some incredible dessert at Caffe Roma. Dylan's candy bar is neat. China Town is a must see - just to say you've been - buy a cheap Rolex and see some nasty smelling fish. Wear comfy walking shoes. Buy hot nuts from the street vendors.
